Equipment

  • 1 Food processor
  • 1 Microwave-proof bowl
  • 1 Square baking dish
  • Baking paper

Ingredients

Slice

  • 1 cup sultanas or dates
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • ½ cup walnuts optional
  • ½ cup desiccated coconut
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp water

Chocolate

  • 50 g dark chocolate optional

Instructions

Make slice

  1. Place 1 cup sultanas, 2 tbsp peanut butter, ½ cup walnuts, ½ cup desiccated coconut, 4 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp water in a food processor and blitz for 3-5 minutes or until it comes together into a ball. If The mix is not coming together add 1-2 tablespoons of water.

Melt chocolate

  1. Break 50 g dark chocolate into a microwave-proof bowl. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until the chocolate has melted.

To finish

  1. Line a square baking dish with baking paper. Add the slice mixture and firmly press to line the bottom of the dish. Then pour over the melted chocolate and evenly spread with a spatula. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until set before slicing.
